Strategic Compliance Solutions, LLC, is a Georgia-based consulting firm formed in 2003 to assist alternative investment firms with a wide array of regulatory compliance and operational issues. Our team of highly qualified consultants have years of experience within the alternative investment industry, allowing SCS to respond to the needs of our clients quickly, and with the highest quality of service and professionalism. At SCS, the satisfaction of our clients is of the utmost importance. Whether we are working on a finite project or offering long-term assistance, our dedication to not only meeting the needs of our clients, but exceeding them, is evidenced by the fact that almost all of our new business is generated by referrals from existing clients and other industry professionals.
Kate Dressel, CRCP - Founder and President
Kate Dressel is the founder and President of Strategic Compliance Solutions, LLC a Connecticut-based consulting firm assisting alternative investment firms with regulatory compliance and operational issues.
Prior to forming SCS in September of 2003, Ms. Dressel spent over 10 years at ARA Portfolio Management Company, LLC, a Commodity Trading Advisor, Commodity Pool Operator, Registered Investment Advisor and hedge fund. As Vice President of Client Services and Compliance, Ms. Dressel had complete responsibility for those areas of firm operations.
Ms. Dressel earned the CRCP designation upon completing the NASD / Wharton School of Business Certified Regulatory Compliance Professional program.
Ms. Dressel has served on committees and in the Mentoring Program for Managed Funds Association, the leading hedge fund industry association. She is a frequent speaker at alternative investment industry and compliance conferences, and is regularly quoted in industry publications. She has authored/co-authored a number of articles and publications.
Ms. Dressel is a member of National Society of Compliance Professionals and 100 Women in Hedge Funds.
